About the PSC
Assessing the threat
The Protective Security Catalogue (PSC) is provided by The Protective Security Suppliers Association (PSSA). Their members are leading manufacturers, testers, and installers of products designed to defend against terror attacks. The use of vehicles in terrorist incidents has increased dramatically since 2016. The purpose of PSC Catalogue is to provide information and assistance to those responsible for the safety and security of locations that may be at risk of this of a terror attack.
PSC Provides
- A host of online information related to Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM), Forced Entry and Ballistic Protection including threat risk assessment, solution considerations, product options, testing standards explanations, spec writing and installer selection tips.
- Recommended links to other reputable sources of information, and relevant downloadable documents.
- Access to the free PSC Continuous Professional Development (CPD) seminar programme. PSSA-trained personnel can attend your premises to present the latest specialist guidance on aspects of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation.
